On the banks of a river, two friends toast in a summer setting. Will they be disturbed by the children who try to spit in their drinks from their windowsill?
But watch out! A pigeon is about to avenge them, while a cat is waiting for the right moment to jump down the pigeon's throat. Not far away, a man is basking in the sun, which my lion will keep up for the rest of his life.
Watch out young man, you'll end up splashed by the boy jumping rope; and your bread attracts ducks. For the sake of privacy, we'll leave the embracing couple to live out their time behind the curtains.
On the other hand, the sausage seller dozing under the arch will not be happy when he wakes up. He'll be missing at least two of his sausages. The cause: two thieves, a cat and the upstairs neighbour who thought he was a delicatessen fisherman.
